Former Indian cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra feels Kolkata Knight Riders will win the contest against Rajasthan Royals. Both Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals have won their respective last matches.
Today both the teams will contest each other in Dubai, and this will also be the first time they will play in a new venue.
Aakash Chopra feels that KKR has a better chance of winning this match owing to a better batting lineup than the RR. Supporting his statement, Chopra said Robin Uthappa, Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia don’t fit in at number 4 & 6 places.
“Rajasthan Royals’ batting order is still looking slightly weak to me. Whatever you have done is brilliant, but Buttler along with Smith, Sanju at No.3 but then you are stuck at No.4,” Aakash Chopra said.
“Rahul Tewatia, Robin Uthappa and Riyan Parag are not the ideal No.4 to No.6. So I feel there is definitely a scope of a change,” he added.
Rajasthan may have won both of its matches, but it was mainly due to Sanju Samson and Steve Smith who are in amazing form.
Jos Buttler has also returned to the team and his addition has added a spark to Rajasthan’s batting. The team will also be banking on Jofra Archer to give early break through against the KKR.
KKR on the other hand has in form Shubman Gill alongside Eoin Morgan and power hitter Andre Russell. If all of them click, they may easily win this match against the RR today.
