A source from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has rubbished all of the reports of a rift between the franchise and Ravindra Jadeja. As per him, nothing is wrong between the two.

For those who don’t know, Ravindra Jadeja has reportedly deleted all the posts which are linked to CSK from the 2021 and 2022 seasons. It is an indication that Ravindra Jadeja isn’t too happy with the treatment that he got from the franchise this year. Add to that, the Indian all-rounder also didn’t wish MS Dhoni his birthday on Twitter, which he used to do every year.

However, an official from CSK tried to clear the air about the rift rumours and told ANI, ”See, this is a personal call by him. We are not aware of such kinds of incidents from our side. All OK. Nothing is wrong.”

Ahead of the start of the IPL 2022, Ravindra Jadeja was appointed as the new captain of Chennai Super Kings. The franchise didn’t perform too well under his leadership and MS Dhoni took over the captaincy midway through the season. Jadeja’s performances also took a beating because of that. However, Jadeja’ wasn’t too happy with the decision. Later, he was ruled out of the team due to a rib injury.

Jadeja made his comeback in the recently fifth Test match against England in Birmingham. He notched a sensation ton in that game but India lost the day, in the end. Ravindra Jadeja is currently participating for India in the ongoing T20I series against England.

The southpaw played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 46 runs in 29 balls to help the team reach a competitive score of 170 runs. The match is currently unbeaten and India is all over England. At the time of writing, England has lost 6 wickets for 63 runs in the second innings.
