BAN vs WI: After losing the Test as well as the T20I series, Bangladesh has showcased outstanding performances in the ongoing ODI series. Tamim Iqbal and Co. won the second ODI on Wednesday by 9 wickets to seal the series 2-0, with one more game left in the series.

The Tigers exhibited a sensational performance with the ball. Riding on brilliant bowling spells from Mehidy Hasan and Nasum Ahmed, Bangladesh bowled out West Indies for just 108 runs in the first innings. None of the West Indies batters could go on to score big.

Openers, Shai Hope (18) and K Mayer (17) got starts but were guilty of not converting them into big scores. Later, Shamarh Brooks (5), Brandon King (11) and Pooran (0) all got out cheaply. Nasum Ahmed and Mehidy Hasan compiled to bundle half of the West Indies side for just 45 runs on the board.

Rovman Powell tried to up the ante by hitting two fours but Shoriful Islam had him in the 25th over. Once he got out, wickets fell in quick succession and West Indies were bowled out for just 108 runs on the board.

Mehidy Hasan came up with a sensational bowling spell of 4 for 29 in 8 overs, while Shorfiul Islam picked 3 for 19 in 10 overs. Bangladesh, in pursuit of the score, chased down the target in 20.4 overs with 9 wickets in hand. Tamim Iqbal played an unbeaten knock of 50 runs in 62 balls, while Litton Das also remained unbeaten on 30 off 27, including 6 fours.

Bangladesh would be looking to win the third ODI as well and register a series whitewash. West Indies, on the other hand, would look to salvage some pride.
