BCCI announces squads for Women’s T20 Challenge

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday released the final squads for the forthcoming Women’s T20 Challenge. There will be three teams battling out in the tournament between November 4-9.

Former Indian skipper Mithali Raj, current skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana will be leading the teams.

Supernovas, Trailblazers and Velocity are the three teams which will be led by Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana respectively.

The tournament will likely take place in Sharjah however, the BCCI is yet to release the finals dates and schedule. The sources confirmed that the matches will take place at 7:30 PM IST (6:00 PM UAE time).

Supernovas will square off with the Velocity in the tournament opener on November 4. While the second match will take place between Trailblazers and Supernovas game on November 7.
