DC vs RR 2022: Delhi Capitals lock horns with Rajasthan Royals in the 34th match of the Indian Premier League 2022 at Wankhede Cricket Stadium on Friday. After suffering a defeat at the hands of Bangalore, Delhi bounced back brilliantly in their last match. A collective bowling effort from Delhi helped them bundle out Punjab for just 115 runs in the first innings.

The likes of Mustafizur Rahman, Kuldeep Yadav, Lalit Yadav, and Axar Patel all picked two wickets each. Axar Patel was the best of all as he picked the important wickets of Liam Livingstone and Jitesh Sharma. He gave just 10 runs in his four-over spell.
Delhi, in reply, chased down the score in just 10.3 overs. Prithvi Shaw and David Warner, once again, gave the team a stellar start with the bat. The duo added 83 runs in just 6.3 overs before Shaw got out on 41 off 20. Warner, however, stayed right till the end and played an unbeaten knock of 60 runs in 30 balls. Heading into the next game, Delhi would be looking to continue the winning momentum.
For the unversed, both Tim Siefert and Mitchell Marsh have been contracted with Covid-19 and, thus, won’t be available for the game.
Rajasthan Royals
Facing them are Rajasthan Royals, who too have been in sensational form. In six matches, they have managed to win four games and thus are sitting third on the table.
Jos Buttler will be their biggest bet. He notched his second half-century in the last game and is currently the highest run-getter. Besides, Sanju Samson is also in great touch. He would be looking to add a big knock under his belt. The onus will also be on Shimron Hetmyer, who has shown great form in the tournament.
With the ball, Yuzvendra Chahal will be the man to watch out for. He picked his first five-wicket haul in his IPL career in the last game, including a hat-trick. His four-wicket overturned the game completely on its head in the last game against KKR and, thereby, helped the team win the match.
Both Chahal and Ashwin are, once again, going to be crucial to the team’s fortune.
