GT vs SRH Match Prediction: The 21st match of the Indian Premier League is scheduled to be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans at DY Patil Sports Academy on Monday. After suffering two consecutive defeats, Hyderabad came back strongly to win their next game against Chennai Super Kings.
A collective bowling effort helped them restrict CSK to just 154 runs in that game. Washington Sundar (2 for 21) and T Natarajan (2 for 30), once again, were brilliant with the ball. Sunrisers Hyderabad, later, chased down the score in just 17.4 overs. Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson put on a brilliant 89-run partnership for the opening wicket as they denied CSK from taking any wicket in the power play. Williamson got out after scoring 32 runs in 40 balls, however, Abhishek Sharma went on to play a sensational knock of 75 runs in just 50 balls.
That innings would have given him a lot of confidence. Rahul Tripathi, once again, was brilliant with the bat as he contributed 39 runs in just 15 balls, including 5 fours and 2 sixes. Heading into their next game, they would be looking to continue the winning momentum.
Gujarat Titans preview:
Facing them are Gujarat Titans, who are flying high in the tournament. They are yet to lose a game this season. The Titans are coming into the game on the back of an unbelievable six-wicket win over the Punjab Kings. Apart from Rashid Khan, who returned with stellar figures of 3 for 22, all the bowlers had a forgettable day with the ball, and, as a result, Gujarat conceded 189 runs in the first innings.
Shubman Gill played yet again a stellar knock of 96 runs in 59 balls in the second innings. Titans had the game in hand till the time he was there at the crease. However, once he got out, the required rate kept rising up. Hardik Pandya too unfortunately got out run-out on the first ball of the 20th over and the equation eventually came down to 12 runs needed in the last two balls.
Rahul Tewatia, once again, left everyone stunned as he hit two sixes off two consecutive balls to win the game for his side. The Titans would be brimming with confidence and would look to extend their winning run.
