Kolkata fought hard with the bat but fell short of 2 runs, in the end. Mohsin Khan, once again, was impressed with the ball, picking 3 for 20 in 4 overs. However, the likes of Avesh Khan and Jason Holder went for a lot of runs.

He played a stellar knock of 73 runs in 54 balls, a knock that had 8 fours and 2 sixes. Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell also played valuable knocks of 44(38) and 40(18) respectively. As a result, the team chased down 168 runs in 18.4 overs.
With the ball, the onus will be on Hasaranga and Hazlewood. Harshal Patel got injured in the last game and it remains to be seen whether he will be available for the next game or not. Besides, M Siraj is likely to make his comeback into the playing XI.
