PBKS vs DC Live Score: After losing their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals bounced back emphatically on Wednesday. Rishabh Pant and Co. exhibited an all-round display to register a crushing 9-wicket defeat against Punjab Kings.
Batting first, Punjab Kings were restricted to just 115 runs in the first innings. Skipper, Mayank Agarwal got a decent start but couldn’t convert that into a big score. He got out after scoring 24 runs in 15 balls.
The likes of Dhawan, Bairstow, and Livingstone all got out on low scores. Punjab Kings got off to the worst possible start as they lost four wickets for just 54 runs on the board. Jitesh Sharma played a valuable knock of 32 runs in 23 balls, however, he too couldn’t play till the end.
None of the batsmen got going as wickets kept falling at short intervals. In the end, Punjab Kings were only bundled out for 115 runs in the first innings.
Delhi produced a collective bowling effort and helped them restrict the opposition to a below-par score. The likes of Khaleel Ahmed, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav all picked two wickets each.
In reply, Delhi openers got the team to a ferocious start. Prithvi Shaw and David Warner stitched an 83-run partnership in just 6.2 overs before Shaw got out on 41 runs in 20 balls.
David Warner stayed unbeaten on 60 off 30 balls, including 10 fours and 1 six. Sarfaraz Khan stayed unbeaten on 12 off 13 balls, including 1 four. The duo took the team home in just 10.3 overs, thereby winning the game by 9 wickets.
