RR vs RCB Live Score: Rajasthan Royals continued their superb run in the Indian Premier League 2022 as they registered their sixth win in the tournament on Tuesday. Sanju Samson and Co. beat RCB by 29 runs to move to the top of the points table. Once again, Rajasthan Royals batted first but they couldn’t get a great start this time around.
Jos Buttler, the man in form, got out after scoring just 8 runs in 9 balls. Padikkal (7) and Ashwin (17) too got out on low scores, while Sanju Samson (27 off 21) once again was guilty of not converting the start into a big score.
Wickets kept falling consistently at one end. However, Riyan Parag played a superb knock under pressure to take the team to a reasonable score of 144 runs in the first innings. He scored an unbeaten 56 runs in 31 deliveries, a knock which was laced with 3 fours and 4 sixes.
RCB would be pretty pleased with their bowling performance. Josh Hazlewood, once again, starred with the ball as he picked 2 wickets for just 19 runs in 4 overs. W Hasaranga (2 for 23) and M Siraj (2 for 30) also made great returns.
In pursuit of the total, RCB, once again, exhibited an underwhelming performance with the bat. Virat Kohli scored 9 runs in 10 balls before going back to the hut with a wry smile on his face. Faf du Plessis (23 off 21) got a decent start but couldn’t convert either, while Maxwell was caught on the slips on the very first ball of his innings. RCB kept losing wickets at regular intervals as none of the batsmen stepped up to the task. In the end, they were bundled out for just 115 runs on the board.
For Rajasthan, Kuldeep Sen starred with the ball, picking 4 for 17 in 4 overs. Ravichandran Ashwin (3 for 17) returned with impressive figures, while Prasidh Krishna (2 for 23) also made great returns.
