IND vs SA 5th T20I: India will take on South Africa in the final T20I of the five-match series on Sunday at M. Chinnaswamy stadium. The series is currently leveled at 2-2 and whosoever wins the final game will take the series.
South Africa won the first two T20 internationals but India fought back brilliantly with two back-to-back wins. Hardik Pandya played stellar knocks in both games, while Ishan Kishan has been India’s best batter in the series. However, the one who stole all the limelight in the last game was Dinesh Karthik.
He notched the first-ever fifty of his T20 international career. Karthik played a stellar knock and turned the fortunes of the team at a time when they were in dire straits.
With the ball, Avesh Khan came back into form as he picked 4 crucial wickets to help his team bundled out South Africa for just 87 runs in the second innings. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel have been bowling well as well, Yuzvendra Chahal will continue to be the biggest bet in the spin department.
India hasn’t made a single change in the playing XI in the first four games and one doesn’t expect them to make any change in the final match as well. On the other hand, South Africa is coming into the game on the back of two consecutive losses.
Temba Bavuma has hurt himself and he is likely to sit out and Reeza Hendricks will replace him. On the other hand, the likes of Rabada and Parnell are likely to make their way back into the playing XI. With the bat, the onus will be on the likes of Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen, and David Miller to score the bulk of the runs.
South Africa might have lost their last two games but they can beat any side on the given day and, thus, you can expect a cracker of a contest on Sunday.
