Jasprit Bumrah wrote his name in the history books on Saturday after hitting Stuart Broad for 35 runs in a single over. With that, he created the world record in Test Cricket. You seldom see a batter hitting so many runs in a single over. It becomes even more astonishing when you realize that a bowler has created the record.
Earlier, Brian Lara held the record after scoring 28 runs in a single over in a Test match. Jasprit Bumrah surpasses him to create a new world record on Saturday. The video of Japsrit Bumrah smashing Stuart Broad to all parts of the ground has gone viral on the internet.
It happened in the 84th over, when Jasprit Bumrah pulled Broad for a boundary on the very first ball. Broad went on to leak 35 runs in that over, leaving every Indian fan with a big smile.
