New Zealand produced another sensational performance in the third ODI against Bangladesh, winning the game by 164 runs on Friday. With that win, the Blackcaps have white-washed Bangladesh 3-0. New Zealand batted first and posted a huge 318-run total in the first innings, courtesy a couple of heart-warming centuries from Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell.
The total eventually proved too much for Bangladesh as they got bundled out for just 154 runs. Jimmy Neesham picked a five-for, while Matt Henry claimed 4 wickets to his name.

Meanwhile, Trent Boult’s sensational catch to get rid of Liton Das in the seventh over of the second innings has been doing the rounds on social media. Liton Das was looking good and reached 21 off 21 balls. However, a superb diving catch from Trent Boult to his left led to Das’ undoing. Matt Henry pitched the ball on the off-stump which swung away from the batsman. Liton Das tried to dispatch it only to get a leading edge to Trent Boult at third man.
His wicket left Bangladesh in all sorts of trouble at 26 for 3 after 7 overs. The wickets kept falling at regular intervals as Bangladesh collapsed to 154 runs in the second innings.
Both teams will now prepare for a three-match T20 series, starting from Sunday. The first T20 will be played in Hamilton, while the second and third T20 internationals will be played in Napier and Auckland.
