ENG vs PAK: Pakistan is set to host England after a brief period of 17 years. Pakistan and England will play seven T-20 International matches in the purview of the approaching T-20 World Cup in Australia. England’s tour to Pakistan is scheduled for September-October whereas the T-20 World Cup will kickstart in October end.

The first four T-20I matches will take place at the National Stadium in Karachi on 20, 22,23 and 25 September. The remainder of the series comprising three T-20Is will be conducted at the Gaddafi Stadium In Lahore on 28, 30, September and 2nd October.

The T-20 International series between England and Pakistan will be the first leg of a full-fledged tour. The age-old rivals will once again get involved in a bitter face-off for a three-match test series after the conclusion of the World Cup in December.

Director of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zakir Khan addressed the media and confirmed that the England National cricket team will tour Pakistan for seven T-20I in Karachi and Lahore. He added by saying that the series will raise the curtain to a busy, entertaining and exciting cricket season.

England and Pakistan are one of the top-ranked teams in the shortest T-20 International format. Though England is struggling to find the correct combination, Pakistan has stood absolutely determined in its efforts throughout the season.

England was scheduled to travel to Pakistan in November 2021 but made a last-minute cancellation in concern with the players’ mental health and strict covid bio-bubble regulations. Similarly, New Zealand has also called off their tour to Pakistan citing security reasons in early 2022.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has ensured that all the security procedures will be taken care of and the board is set to demonstrate exceptional planning and implementation of the ENG vs PAK series. Both the teams will soon announce the squad for the series.
