England vs Pakistan 1st ODI: Pakistan’s tour of England will begin from July 8 with the three-match ODI series. The last time Pakistan visited England was in 2020 in the midst of a pandemic when all cricketing events were not taking place.

This will be Pakistan’s first international fixture after the Pakistan Super League. On the other hand, England just won the white-ball series against Sri Lanka, are in commanding form despite the absence of Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes. Both the players will sit out of the whole series due to their respective injuries.

Sophia Gardens in Cardiff will host the first ODI match on July 8 (Thursday). The pitch has mostly favoured teams batting second. A total of 25 ODI matches have been played so far and teams batting second have managed to win 16 of them.
