ICC Women Ranking: Dominating with bat and ball, the West Indies Captain and All Rounder Hayley Matthews claimed the No. 1 spot on the latest MRF Tyres ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings for all-rounders for the first time in her career after aggregating 88 runs and grabbing five wickets in a 2-1 series win over New Zealand.

A bunch of Indian players have made some rapid gains in the MRF Tyres ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings after the team’s 3-0 sweep over England. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur who bagged the “Player of the Series Award” smashed a match-winning 143 not out of 111 deliveries in the second match in Canterbury and gained four slots to reach the fifth position.

Sitting one spot behind Kaur is the Opener Smriti Mandhana with 714 points while Deepti Sharma’s unbeaten 68 not out in the third match at Lord’s lifted her eight places to 24th position.

ICC Women’s Rankings (Batters):

In the batter’s list, Pooja Vastrakar advanced four positions to 49th rank while Harleen Deol advanced 46 positions to tie for the 81st rank.

Retiring Indian team-mate Jhulan Goswami finished her glowing International Career with the fifth position in the Bowler’s Rankings.  Renuka Singh rose up 35 places to 35th on the same list. England spinner Sophie Ecclestone leads the ODI bowler rankings while team-mate Kate Cross picked up seven wickets in that series to notch the 7th spot on Bowler’s list.

Catching an eye in the MRF Tyres ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings was Thailand’s Natthakan Chantham, who was named Player of the Match for a brilliant 64 off 51 deliveries in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2022 semifinal against Bangladesh that moved her up two slots to bag 14th spot.
