IND vs NZ: Martin Guptill and Trent Boult have been left out of the limited-over squad against India. The reason for the same can be Martin Guptill has been out of form in recent appearances and Finn Allen has replaced him in the T20 World cup, whereas Trent Boult has been left out due to his decision of withdrawing from the Central contract.

“When Trent opted out of his NZC contract in August, we indicated that priority would be given to those players with either central or domestic contracts, and that’s been the case here,” he said. “We’re all aware of Trent’s world-class ability, but at this time – as we build towards more global events, we want to give opportunities and experiences to others.”

Adam Milne, 30, has been selected for both squads and will likely play his first ODI in over five years. Kyle Jamieson and Ben Sears were not considered for selection due to injuries, while Jimmy Neesham will miss the third ODI to prepare for his wedding. For the final game, Henry Nicholls will take the place of the allrounder.
