India vs England: India and England lock horns with each other in the third ODI of the three-match series on Sunday at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester. India won the first ODI by 10 wickets but England bounced back brilliantly in the next game, winning the second one-day international by 100 runs.

Indian bowlers, once again, bowled brilliantly in the second ODI, bundling England out for 246 runs in the first innings. Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 4 for 47 in 10 overs. Besides, the likes of Bumrah and Hardik Pandya picked two wickets each as well.

For England, Roy (23) and Bairstow (38) gave the team a decent start, while the likes of Livingstone (33), Moeen Ali (47), and Willey (41) played notable knocks later in the innings. England, however, would be disappointed with the way they batted in the first two games.

In reply, India were bundled out for 146 runs in the second innings, thereby losing the game by 100 runs. Both Rohit Sharma (0) and Shikhar Dhawan (9) went back early, while Rishabh Pant also got out for a duck.

Virat Kohli looked good as he hit three boundaries to start off his innings. However, once again, he got out, while trying to poke a wide delivery outside the off-stump. The likes of Suryakumar Yadav (27), Pandya (29), Jadeja (29) and Shami (23) played decent cameos but couldn’t take the team home.

As for England, Reece Topley produced the match-winning performance of 6 for 24. He will be the man to watch out for on Sunday. The batting unit of both teams hasn’t clicked so far. It will be interesting to see how they fare in the next game.
