West Indies all-rounder, Jason Holder has reached Chennai to join SRH’s squad ahead of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Sunrisers Hyderabad took to Twitter to confirm the news to its fans. Taking to Twitter, the franchisee wrote, “Welcoming the big man from the Windies. Svagatam, @JasenHolder981.”
Jason Holder is an integral part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad. Sunrisers Hyderabad has been a consistent performer ever since they made their debut in 2014. SRH won their first title in 2016 after beating RCB in the final.
Under the leadership of David Warner, SRH reached the playoffs last year. But, unfortunately, lost to Delhi Capitals in the eliminator. They would this time look to not falter in the important games and win their second IPL title in the upcoming edition.
David Warner, who has been one of the best batsmen in the league, will lead SRH this time as well. A consistent performer with the bat, Warner will once again be shouldering the responsibility to give a powerful start to the team.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has attained full fitness and will be available for the entire tournament. The bowling unit looks extremely good as they have got the likes of some outstanding in-form bowlers like Rashid Khan, Bhuvenshaw Kumar, and T Natarajan in their squad.
Besides, SRH recently signed Jason Roy as a replacement for Mitchell Marsh, who has opted out of the IPL. It remains to be seen who would make the top 4 overseas spots in the playing eleven.
