One of the most successful franchises Chennai Super Kings have unveiled their new jersey ahead of the forthcoming edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).
Skipper MS Dhoni was the man who unveiled the rebranded jersey of the franchise by unpacking it from the box. The official handle of Chennai Super Kings posted the video of Captain cool unpacking the new jersey with a caption, “Thala Dharisanam! #WearOnWhistleOn with the all new #Yellove! #WhistlePodu“
CSK had a forgetful season in the 13th edition of IPL held in the UAE. They were ousted from the tournament after a distraught campaign and absence of some key players.
This season they have bought some really experienced players with the hope of coming back harder and and play their real game.
One of the most crucial player Suresh Raina had returned back to India due to personal reasons that hit the side to a lot of extent. However, this time around he has returned and is currently in Mumbai with the fellow CSK members.
MS Dhoni will also return to the competitive cricket after November 1 and fans are already enthralled of witnessing him play again in the yellow jersey.
This season’s IPL will begin from April 9 with the defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore. While CSK’s campaign will begin with the first match against the Delhi Capitals on April 10 at Wankhede Stadium.
The matches will be played at six venues i.e., in Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi.
