The BCCI is also willing to put in the Impact Players rule in IPL where a substitute player can play more active roles in IPL games. This was recently experimented with at the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and achieved success.
On the other hand, the BCCI has invited applications for the purchase of Women’s IPL franchises. The player draft will be finalized soon after the franchise allocation process.
