England wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler won’t be available for the third & final T20I match against Australia on Tuesday. Buttler has taken a permission from the ECB to leave the bubble and visit his family and hence he won’t be with the England side.

The 29-year-old recently retained his form during the ongoing T20I series against Australia at the Old Trafford. He scored an unbeaten match-winning 77* off 54 balls in the last game and helped his side win the series by 2-0. However, this time around, the hosts will have to play his replacement for the final T20I match tomorrow.

Buttler had an upset streak with the bat from the last few months, adding a massive pressure on him. But then he silenced all his critics by scoring 75 runs in the First Test against Pakistan and also helped the side post a respectable total of 277 runs.

He may have patchy form with the bat in the Test cricket but his inclusion in the white ball cricket is cent percent fixed.

The ECB confirmed that Buttler will leave the bubble after undergoing COVID-19 tests and he will return back to the bubble on Thursday.

However, he will also have to serve some safety protocols on his return set by the ECB for the bio-security bubble. The first match of the ODI series will take place on September 11 at the Old Trafford Cricket.
