KKR CEO confirms availability of Eng-Aus players against Mumbai Indians

KKR CEO Venky Mysore has confirmed the availability of England and Australian players for their opening game September 23. Kolkata Knight Riders will face Mumbai Indians in their opening game in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Venky Mysore has updated that England and Australian players who will represent KKR will be available ahead of the first match. Tom Banton, Pat Cummins and Eoin Morgan reached UAE last week and they will complete their quarantine today.

The players are all prepped to play in the opening game against Mumbai Indians as the skipper Dinesh Karthik said, “They have a team of world-class players, they are strong lineup and the amount of IPL titles they have shows that. It’s good that we are playing Mumbai early in the tournament, every year us a different year, I am sure it will be a great game tomorrow”

KKR has a balanced lineup this season and the addition of Eoin Morgan and pacer Pat Cummins will bolster the playing XI. New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson and newly signed USA pacer Ali Khan will form the strong pacer attack.

Besides, the side also boasts of Sunil Narine and hard-hitter Andre Russell who can bat really well and also get wickets. Overall, the KKR squad looks extremely good and under the captaincy of Dinesh Karthik, they can also win the title this season.
