New Zealand vs Scotland: After registering a 2-0 win against Scotland in the T2OI series, New Zealand will play as many T20 internationals against the Netherlands. The squad will be the same and, once again, Mitchell Santner will lead the side. The first T20 international between Scotland and New Zealand is slated to be played on 4th August 2022 at Sportpark at The Hague.
The last time New Zealand played a T20 international, they notched a mammoth score of 254 runs against Scotland. Chapman showed his power-hitting skills as he smashed 83 runs in 44 balls, while M Bracewell played a sensational knock of 61 runs in 25 deliveries, a knock which was laced with 8 fours and 3 sixes. Neesham also played a handy knock of 28 runs in 12 balls, including 1 four and 3 sixes.
All these will be the ones to watch out for. Besides, Martin Guptill is also expected to play a big knock. With the ball, Michael Bracewell was the highest wicket-taker, picking 3 wickets in 1 game. Besides, the likes of Jacob Duffy picked 3, while Michael Leask and Lockie Ferguson also picked 2 each.
On the other hand, the Netherlands team will be led by Scott Edwards. He is also the wicket-keeper in the team. As for the batting department, the team will be banking on Tom Cooper, Bas de Leede, Stephan Myburgh, etc.
