Williams got them off to a bad start, Matthews tried but never got into a rhythm, and Taylor didn’t even try. Taylor’s final score was 48 out of 75, an ineffective approach from the captain and most accomplished player. Others scored under 40 and two of them were knocked out at 0.
Overall the match was a stunner opening the doors for finals for the Australian team wherein the West Indies coping up with a nightmare.
