The Board of Control or Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced an 18-member women’s squad for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against South Africa Women.
Mithali Raj is the captain of the ODI squad while Harmanpreet Kaur would be leading the T20I squad. Two uncapped players have received their maiden call-ups in the ODI squad, Baroda left-handed batter Yastika Bhatia, and Mumbai wicket-keeper Sweta Verma.
The home series of India against South Africa, set to be held at Bharat Ratna Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana International Stadium in Lucknow, will comprise five ODIs and three T20Is. The ODI series will commence from March 7 and last till March 17, while the T20I series will begin on March 20 and will be played till March 23.
