Brendon McCullum will start his role as coach for England against his own New Zealand team. The Kiwi team will play three-match Test series in England.
Now the question is will Brendon continue to coach KKR? England Cricket Board is a financially stable board and they will give double what KKR is giving to Brendon right now.
Although when the IPL schedule is always in the months when international cricket is not played and almost every nation’s players try to get the contract.
Also, KKR could also look for another coach as KKR has not performed up to mark in previous seasons. So KKR management could look for someone who can coach KKR full time and make better out of the players.
“England struggled over the last couple of years, and the style of play has been questioned as well. It gives me the opportunity to try and bring in that real freshness,” McCullum spoke
“Trying to bring a team which is rock-bottom at the moment out of that situation. I will try and build something long term, sustainable and successful, that was where the challenge lay.”
McCullum intends to make England the best side in the world– McCullum has planned to make England the best side.
With only one win, England is currently at the bottom of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC). As they strive to put their recent disappointment behind them and rebuild, McCullum will face a significant obstacle.
England lost the Ashes 0-4, and they are still 1-2 behind India in an unfinished series from last year, which is part of the current WTC cycle. The kiwi series will start on 2nd June and end on 27 June.
