Everest Premier League: The 4th edition of Everest Premier League, a T20 tournament based out of Nepal is confirmed to take place this year. EPL is one of the youngest T20 tournaments in the world after its launch in 2016. The tournament is approved and conducted by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and is one of the biggest sporting events in the country.
This year’s tournament and will begin from September 25th and span for 16 days, with the finals on October 9. EPL 4 was postponed indefinitely last year due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Players like Kesrick Williams (WI), Mohammad Shehzad (AFG), Seekuge Prasanna (SL), Upul Tharanga (SL), Liam Plunkett (ENG), Tim David (AUS), Paul Stirling (IRE), Chris Gayle (WI) have also featured in the tournament.

A: The title champions get a whopping winning prize of 2.1 million rupees.

A: A pool of 15 players will fit into each team; 10 players through an auction, 1 local player through a talent hunt (conducted by the franchise itself in the local city), and 1 Marquee player (optional). Each franchise is obligated to feature 3 foreign players in its team to complete its quota of 15 players, which is a first for any domestic tournament in Nepal.
