Pakistan didn’t have to make too much of an effort in the recently concluded Test series against Zimbabwe. They beat the latter in both the Tests and thereby won the series 2-0. The Men in Green, recently, capped off a comfortable win in the second Test by an innings and 147 runs.
Some scintillating performances were on display from the likes of Azhar Ali, Abid Ali, Nauman Ali, and Azhar Ali. While Abid and Azhar scored a century each, Hasan and Nauman picked respective five-wicket hauls.
Meanwhile, a clip from the game has been doing the rounds on social media. The clip involves Hasan Ali and Zimbabwe batsman Luke Jongwe. Known for being aggressive on the field, Ali indulged in banter with Jongwe on the 3rd day of the Test.
In the video, Hasan can is seen throwing some verbal volleys. Jongwe replied in the best possible way by hitting a four. However, this didn’t stop Hasan, as the matters started to go out of hand. What followed was a heated exchange between the two. The umpires, in the end, had to intervene and take the matters into their hands. Wicket-keeper Rizwan also had to run into the pitch and drag Hasan away.
Nevertheless, it ended on a lighter note as the duo was seen smiling at each other shortly after.
Pakistan players are all geared up to participate in the remainder of PSL 2021 after the PCB decided to resume the tournament. PCB held a meeting with the six franchises to decide upon the time and venue for the tournament. The board was hoping to move the tournament to the UAE.
However, the UAE govt has restricted all the citizens from Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. It remains to be seen how PCB conducts the remaining 20 matches of PSL 2021.
