2011 Cricket World Cup Triumph was one of the biggest moments in the history of Indian Cricket. To mark the 10-year anniversary of the World Cup Glory, the International Cricket Council has taken up the initiative to launch a “CWC11Rewind” campaign.
Under the campaign, the world cricketing body will launch a series of content which will run across the next six months. The campaign will get underway with India vs Bangladesh Game on 19th February 2021.
In a bid to target the large Hindi speaking market, the content will be produced in both Hindi as well as English languages.
“To celebrate the ten-year anniversary of India’s triumph in the 2011 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is launching #CWC11Rewind,” the ICC said in a statement.
There will be a variety of content delivered to the fans, including match highlights for every match released on the ICC website, player focused games, daily reels for the younger group of generation, player interviews etc. In all, there will be 100 posts delivered to the ICC’ Hindi Group.
For those of you who don’t know, ICC was named number one sports governing body for video views on Facebook. ICC garnered more number of views than any other sporting organisation during the pandemic.
