Indian ace-pacer Jasprit Bumrah might not return to the Indian team even for the ODI series scheduled against England. The pacer was ruled out of the fourth Test due to the personal reasons and also rested for the upcoming five-match T20I series.
But seems like, he may also miss out from the subsequent white-ball series even including the three-match ODI series. According to Cricbuzz, Bumrah has been released from the Indian team due to the same reason he was ruled out of the fourth Test.
He will also miss out on his maiden T20I feature on his home ground i.e., in Ahmedabad. It will be followed by the ODI series which will take place entirely under the bio-secure environment in Pune.
Bumrah’s exclusion also makes way for the youngsters who in case will have the chances to make a cut in the playing XI of both ODI and T20I team.
Unfortunately, Tamil Nadu’s spin sensation Varun Chakravarthy may again miss out on his debut for the second time after failing the standard yo-yo test at National Cricket Academy (NCA). The BCCI also confirmed the following news stating that the 29-year-old failed the test.
But the BCCI might resend him for another round of yo-yo test for increasing his chances of making into the Indian team. The T20I series is still 11 days away from now, hence he can still improve his yo-yo test results ahead of the series.
