India vs Ireland: India and Ireland are set to lock horns with each other in the first match of the T20I series on Sunday at The Village, Dublin. Most of the senior players in the Indian team are currently in England preparing for the fifth Test.
In their absence, Hardik Pandya has been given the duty to lead the team. He will be in charge of the team, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be his deputy. The likes of Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav will be making their comeback.
They will hold the middle order together, while Ishan Kishan and Ruturaj Gaikwad are likely to open the innings. Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik will don the role of the finisher in the team.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar will lead the fast bowling unit and will share the fast bowling duties alongside Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan, Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh.
Yuzvendra Chahal will be the biggest bet in the spin bowling department and Yuzvendra Chahal will be the other spin bowling option with him.
On the other hand, Ireland will be led by Andrew Balbirnie. Harry Tector will be an integral cog in the batting department. As for the all-rounders, the likes of Gareth Delany, Paul Sterling and Curtis Campher will hold the team together.
Craig Young will be the biggest bet with the ball. He should lead the fast bowling department, which also comprises the likes of Barry McCarthy and Joshua Little.
