Mumbai Indians batsman Ishan Kishan has been making waves for the last couple of years now. He has been a consistent run-scorer for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He recently made his international debut in a T20 international against England.
Ishan Kishan is currently in UAE along with his MI teammates, preparing for the second leg of IPL 2021. Ishan Kishan recently hogged the limelight for hitting some jaw-dropping strikes during the training session.
The southpaw is once again making headlines but not for his on-field antics. Ishan Kishan recently engaged in a jamming session with two other players, Yudhvir Dhahiya and Anukul Roy, at Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi.
Mumbai Indians posted a picture on their social media handle featuring MI players- Yudhvir Singh Charak, Ishan Kishan and Anukul Roy jamming in a band session. The post captioned, “𝗣𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻, 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗡! #OneFamily #MumbaiIndians #IPL2021 @Yudhvircharak @ishankishan51 @anukul06roy.”
In the picture, Ishan Kishan can be seen playing the drums, while the other two players took the guitar. The trio seemed to have a lot of fun in the session. He wore a funky shirt and looked no less than a professional drummer.
Ishan Kishan’s best IPL season came in the 2020 edition, where he managed to score 516 runs in 14 matches at an average of 57.33. He didn’t have a great outing in the first half of IPL 2021, managing only 73 runs in 5 games. It will be interesting to see how he fares in the second leg of the tournament at UAE. Mumbai Indians currently sit at fourth position on the points table with 4 wins in 7 matches. They will kickstart their second leg campaign against the Chennai Super Kings on 19th September 2021.
