West Indies skipper Jason Holder arrived in the UAE for the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League on Saturday. Holder will be joining the Sunrisers Hyderabad as the replacement of Mitchell Marsh after he injured his ankle against the RCB.
SRH skipper David Warner had confirmed that Marsh will miss the entire tournament owing to the severity of his injury.
Since Holder will take his place, he will first be confined to the quarantine of six days and also clear all the COVID-19 tests. Only then, he will be able to join the squad for the rest of the season.
Marsh had sustained ankle injury during the fifth over RCB’s innings after delivering four balls of his spell. He also came to to bat at number 10 and got out after struggling to even stand on the crease.
SRH lost their opening game by 10 runs to the RCB and now they will face Kolkata Knight Riders in their second match on Saturday.
