PAK vs AUS: Pakistan has announced squads for the upcoming T20 and ODI series against Australia. Pakistan’s young rising star, Mohammad Haris has received a call-up, following his impressive batting display in the Pakistan Super League. He has replaced Sarfaraz Ahmed in the squad. Besides, Imad Wasim too didn’t find a place in either of the squads.
Chief selector Muhammad Wasim said the selection of the two squads was based around a strategy to provide opportunities to high-performing players as part of their strategy to increase the pool of top-class cricketers and develop formidable bench strength.
The selectors have picked as many as 20 players for the ODIs. For the T20 internationals, they have picked 17 players. Babar Azam and Shadab Khan are the captain and vice-captains for both ODIs as well as T20 internationals.

Zaman, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdil Shah, Muhammad Haris, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Wasim jr, Saud Shakeel, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani. T20 Squad: Babar Azam (Caps), Shadab Khan (VC), Asif Afridi, Asif Ali, Fakhar. Zaman, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Muhammad Haris, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Wasim jr, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani. Usman Qadir.
The first of the three-match ODI series will be played on 29th March 2022, while the second and third ODI is slated to be played on 31st March and 2nd April 2022. The tour will conclude with one T20 international, which will be played on 5th April 2022. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host all four matches.
