PAK vs WI Match Preview: Pakistan and West Indies will square up against each other in the second of the four-match T20 series on Saturday. The first match didn’t get any result as the match was abandoned due to rain. Both teams would be keen to start the series with a win.
If we look at their recent results, Pakistan has an edge over West Indies. Pakistan last visited West Indies for a T20 series in 2017 and won the series 3-1. Besides, they have won the last four out of five T20 games against them. Given the T20 World Cup is just a few months away, the four games would have been crucial for both sides.
Both teams would look to sort out their best playing XI ahead of the perennial tournament. This is West Indies last T20 series before the T20 World Cup. They are coming into the series on the back of a 4-1 win against Australia. Pakistan, on the other hand, lost their last T20 series 2-1 against England.
Having said that, winning against Pakistan isn’t going to be easy. Mohammad Rizwan was the highest run-getter in the T20 series against England. Skipper, Babar Azam has also been playing equally well. Though, it will be interesting to see how the middle order plays in the upcoming four games. Pakistan has made some changes in the middle-order and would be hoping that it would come out well.
West Indies, on the other hand, is filled with power hitters. They have more and less settled their playing XI. Andre Russell is a key man when it comes to your fantasy team. Besides, Hayden Walsh would be the man to watch for the bowling department.
