Perth Scorchers secured their 11th win of the BBL 2021-22 after beating Brisbane Heat by 6 wickets on Sunday. Brisbane Heat, batting first, managed to score 155 runs in the first innings. Max Bryant played a sensational 81-run knock off 56 deliveries, however, he didn’t find any support from the other end.
The likes of Chris Lynn (7), Ben Duckett (6), Heazlett (10) all failed to make a significant contribution with the bat. Later Peirson played a handy 31-run knock off 19 balls.
It was a combined bowling effort from the Perth Scorchers, which helped them restrict to Brisbane Heat to a below-par total. Befrendorff and Peter Hatzoglou picked 2 wickets each, while Mitchell Marsh and Andrew Tye picked one wicket apiece.

Brisbane Heat, on the other hand, had a forgettable season, having managed to secure only 3 wins out of 13 matches. Perth Scorchers have completed all their league stage matches. Brisbane Heat, on the other hand, will be playing one last game against Sydney Sixers on Wednesday.
