IPL 2022 Playing XI: Former Indian cricketer and India great, Sachin Tendulkar unveiled his best playing XI of IPL 2022 on Tuesday (May 31). Tendulkar’s finest playing XI included KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya. The Master Blaster has picked Shikhar Dhawan and Jos Buttler as openers.
With the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) came to end on Sunday, famous cricketer and former Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Sachin Tendulkar unveiled his best XI of the cash-rich league on Monday. Tendulkar, known as the best batsman of his generation, selected Punjab Kings (PBKS) opener Shikhar Dhawan and Mumbai Indians (MI) pace ace Jasprit Bumrah among his star-studded playing XI.
The Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans dominated the IPL 2022 season from start to end as new entrants in the 15th edition of domestic cricket’s biggest spectacle. The Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) to seal their place in the IPL 2022 final after being the first team to reach the playoff stage of the best T20 league. The champion of IPL 15 Qualifier 1 achieved a famous double by defeating the Sanju Samson-led side in the playoffs for the second time. On Sunday, Gujarat won its first IPL trophy with a comfortable triumph over the 2008 champions.
Tendulkar chose his finest playing XI of the 15th edition of the IPL while speaking on his YouTube channel about the action-packed season. “I’m going to play Shikhar Dhawan because I want a left-hand, right-hand combo.” He accelerates beautifully and rotates the strike. It is unnecessary to speculate on Dhawan’s opening partner. What a season Jos Buttler has had, it’s been incredible. No one can match Buttler once he gets going,” Tendulkar said.
Sachin Tendulkar’s best XI of IPL 2022:
Shikhar Dhawan, Jos Buttler, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya (captain), David Miller, Liam Livingstone, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Rashid Khan, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah.
