Shikhar Dhawan is hailed as one of the fittest players in the Indian Cricket Team. He recently took to Instagram to share his post-workout picture. Showing off his sweaty musculature, he wrote, “My sweat shines brighter than my diamonds” as the caption.
To this, Rohit Sharma left a cheeky comment which caught the eyes of fans.
One of the replies was from Sharma that read:
“Ohh kii gal…”
Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan has been tasked to lead the second-string Indian team on their tour to Sri Lanka. The Men in Blue will travel to Sri Lanka for three ODIs and as many T20 internationals.
The first ODI match will take place on 13th July 2021. While the second and third T20 ODIs will take place on 16th and 18th July 2021. This will be followed by three T20 internationals, scheduled to be held on 21st July, 23rd July and 25th July respectively.
The senior Indian Cricket Team is currently in England, playing the World Test Championship final against New Zealand. India and New Zealand are all set to play the summit clash, however, rain played spoilsport on the first day of the Test. As of now, the first session of the play has been washed out due to rain. It remains to be seen how the game will pan out for the rest of the day.
As per the forecast, rain is expected on all five days. ICC has already planned a reserve day. However, if the Test ends in no-result, the trophy will be shared by both sides.
“The reserve day has been scheduled to ensure five full days of play, and it will only be used if lost playing time cannot be recovered through the normal provisions of making up lost time each day. There will be no additional day’s play if a positive result is not achieved after five full days of play and the match will be declared a draw in such a scenario,” ICC had stated last month.
