The second leg of IPL 2021 began on Sunday after it was put to hold in May due to multiple Covid-19 cases inside the bio-bubbles. Mumbai Indian and Chennai Super Kings resumed the second leg with a high octane clash. CSK won the game by 20 runs to reach the top of the table. Rajasthan Royals, yesterday beat Punjab Kings by just 2 runs in the last ball thriller to strengthen his position on the points table.
T Natarajan missed out on the first leg of the IPL 2021 due to an injury. He was due to make a comeback in the second leg of the tournament. However, with him being tested positive for the virus, he is likely to miss the second leg of the tournament as well. Meanwhile, there have been doubts on whether the tournament will be continued as planned or it will be cancelled.
However, since the results of all the other players have come out negative, the match is still going to go ahead as per the current plans.
