S Suchith too played a role with the ball as he claimed the wickets of Prabhudessai and Karthik, giving away only 12 runs in 3 overs.
In pursuit of the score, Abhishek Sharma played his second good innings with the bat. The southpaw smashed 47 runs in 28 balls, a knock which was laced with 8 fours and 1 six. Kane Williamson also stayed unbeaten on 16 off 17 balls, including 2 fours. Rahul Tripathi remained unbeaten on 7 off 3 balls.
With that win, SRH has reached the second position on the points table with 5 wins in 7 matches.
