West Indies star all-rounder Sunil Narine and his wife Anjellia welcomed their baby boy on Monday. The cricketer announced the birth of his child on his official Instagram handle.
The 32-year old player had announced in October last year that the couple was expecting the arrival of a new family member.
Uploading a picture of his newborn baby on Instagram, Narine wrote an adorable caption.
“You fill a place in our heart that we never knew was empty, we have seen all of God’s goodness and grace in one tiny face. We love you unconditionally -Dad & Mom,” he wrote.
As soon as the player broke the news, congratulatory comments started pouring in from his fans.
His Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders took to Twitter to congratulate their MVP player. They wrote, “It’s a baby boy. Congratulations to @SunilPNarine74 and Jellia on becoming proud parents of the latest member of our Knight Riders family.”
Ahead of the IPL 2021 auction, KKR has retained Sunil Narine, who has been a part of the franchise since 2012, among the other 16 players retained by the team.
