Sunil Narine is currently not a part of the West Indies cricket team but he is making heads turn with his performances in the ongoing The Hundred 2021 tournament. He is plying his trade for Oval Invincibles and doing a wonderful job with the ball. In 8 games, he has managed to pick 7 wickets at 22.57. Moreover, Narine has entered his name in the record books by becoming only the third player to clinch 400 T20 wickets while playing for Oval Invincibles in The Hundred match.

Sunil Narine made his one-day international debut in December 2011 and Test debut in June 2012. He has been playing for different franchise leagues across the globe for many years now. He has represented Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL, Dhaka Dynamites in BPL and Trinbago Knight Riders in CPL.

Sunil Narine featured in the last one-day international for West Indies in October 2016 against Pakistan. His last T20I appearance came in August 2019 against India. There have been some speculations over his participation in West Indies in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Whether he will play or not remains to be seen.
