I’ve played a few innings with India A and I think he has belief in me. He told me he thinks I’m good enough to be a No. 7.”
“When we came under 50 is when I believed we can win. Before that, it was ball by ball. I took some risks after,” added Deepak Chahar.
Chahar played an instrumental 33-run partnership with Krunal Pandya (35 off 54 balls) before adding another 84 runs along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
He also gave credit to the bowling department for stop the hosts at 275 runs and called it a decent target to chase.
