Washington Sundar recently uploaded a video, capturing Dinesh Karthik, on his Twitter handle. He captured Dinesh Karthik sitting at a hair salon in England. He shared Karthik’s new look with the fans on his Twitter and Instagram handles and wrote a cheeky note, which reads, “DK looking Sundar.”
Dinesh Karthik was part of the ICC Commentary panel for the WTC final between India and England. He is currently in England. Dinesh Karthik impressed one and only with his commentary skills. The cricket fans across the globe loved the insights shared by the Indian wicket-keeper in the commentary panel during the WTC final.
In a recent interview with ESPN, Dinesh Karthik shared his ambitions of playing for India and is looking forward to making a place for the upcoming World Cups.
“Right now, my ambition is to be part of the next two World Cups and try and help India win at least one, if not both. That’s the ultimate goal for me and I am doing everything I possibly can to be part of that team,” said the 36-year-old
Dinesh Karthik was last seen donning the Indian jersey in the hurt-crushing 2019 World Cup semi-final against New Zealand. Karthik hasn’t appeared for India in any format ever since. He was a part of KKR in the IPL 2021 but couldn’t make a significant contribution for the side. The Indian wicket-keeper would be hoping to showcase better performances in the remainder of IPL 2021 in September.
Washington Sundar is part of India’s squad for the upcoming five-match Test series against England. The first of the five-match Test series will begin on 4th August 2021. The Indian team will assemble in London on July 14.
