Zimbabwe Cricket has announced a 15-player squad for their upcoming Test series against Afghanistan. Zimbabwe Men’s team is slated to play a two-match Test series against Afghanistan starting next month.
The 15-player squad will be led by Sean Williams. Seniors players duo Brendon Taylor and Craig Ervine did not get included in the squad as they made themselves available due to their illnesses. Apart from them, other important names missing from the squad are that of Tendai Chatara, Chamu Chibhabha, and Peter Moor, all of who are out due to their injuries.
The squad has welcomed back Tarisai Musakanda, who will make his second Test appearance for the team after making his Test debut against Sri Lanka, back in 2017. The first Test will commence on March 2nd, while the second Test will commence on March 10. After completing their Test series, the teams will then face-off in three T20I matches beginning from March 17. Al the matches will be held in Abhi Dhabi.
