PAK vs NED 2nd ODI: Pakistan sealed the ODI series against the Netherlands 2-0 after beating the Netherlands by 7 wickets in the 2nd ODI on Thursday. The Men in Green, once again, exhibited a great show with the ball, bundling the Netherlands out for just 186 runs on the board.

Naseem Shah sent the likes of Vikramjit Singh (1) and Barresi (3) in his first over, while Rauf had ODowd in the third over to leave the Netherlands in all sorts of trouble at 8 for 3. Bas de Leede and Tom Cooper then joined hands and led the team’s recovery.

The duo mixed aggression with caution and put on a solid 109-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Nawaz, eventually, accounted for Cooper’s wicket (66 off 74) in the 26th over to end the partnership.

Wickets, thereafter, fell in quick succession as Leede found a lack of support at the other end. He fought hard and was the last wicket to fall during the innings. Leede scored a brilliant knock of 89 runs in 120 balls, including 2 fours and 3 sixes. However, the other batters failed to hit the straps.

For Pakistan, both Nawaz and Haris Rauf picked three wickets each, while Naseem Shah claimed two. In pursuit of the target, the openers got out early. Both Fakhar Zaman and Imam Ul Haq endured disappointing returns.

Babar Azam and M Rizwan, however, ensured the team didn’t face further hiccups. The duo added 88 runs for the third wicket. The skipper got out after scoring 57 runs in 65 balls, but Rizwan stayed unbeaten on 69 off 82 balls. He received valuable support from Agha Salman, who played an unbeaten 50-run knock in 35 balls. Pakistan, as a result, chased down the score in 33.4 overs.

The third and final ODI is scheduled to be played on Sunday.
