Karachi Kings signed the former South African bowler Wayne Parnell as the replacement of Mitchell McClenaghan. While Peshawar Zalmi roped in Sohaib Maqsood at the place of all-rounder Daren Sammy for the playoffs of PSL 4.

The remaining knockout matches of Pakistan Super League is due to resume this month after it was stalled in March this year.

PSL media said that McClenaghan may not be able to make it to Pakistan for the tournament due to the isolation rules in New Zealand.

Peshawar Zalmi also named Saqib Mahmood in the team for replacing Liam Livingstone after he was named in the England squad for the South Africa tour.

Earlier this week, Joe Denly and Brendan Taylor were named as replacements of James Vince and Mahmudullah at Multan Sultans.

Other overseas players to play in the remaining knockout matches are Faf du Plessis, Sherfane Rutherford, Tamim Iqbal and Adam Lyth. The remaining matches of PSL 4 will take place on 14, 15 and 17 November in Karachi.

Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings will square off against each other in the first match of the knockout stage on November 14.

Not only international matches but PSL was also stalled due to coronavirus pandemic early in the month of March. PCB had later announced it would conduct rest of the tournament in the month of November.
