SLK vs SKN CPL 2022: The 20th match of the Caribbean Premier League 2022 will have St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots take on Saint Lucia Kings at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain in Trinidad.

St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots Preview

St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots won their last match against Jamaica by 8 wickets. With that win, they have climbed to number three on the points table. St. Kitts restricted Jamaica to 139 runs in the first innings. The bowlers bowled economically and picked wickets in intervals as well.

The wickets didn’t fall in a cluster but runs couldn’t come at a great pace either. All the four bowlers such as Dananjaya, Rashid Khan, Bravo, and Rutherford picked one wicket each.

The match was later reduced to 15 overs and the revised target was 115 runs. Andre Fletcher gave a solid start with a 38-ball 45, including 3 fours and 3 sixes. He stayed till the end and guided the team home in 12.3 overs. Darren Bravo gave him valuable support with 21-ball 39. All of a sudden, the team is looking dangerous and you expect them to continue the winning run.

St. Lucia Kings Preview

Saint Lucia Kings too have 2 wins in 6 matches but are sitting at second from the bottom. However, they are coming off a win against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots only in their last match and would be looking to beat them again.

Batting first, Saint Lucia posted a pretty good score of 161 runs. J Charles and Faf du Plessis laid the foundation with an 86-run partnership. Charles got out in the 9th over after scoring 41 runs, while du Plessis amassed 60 off just 35. Wickets fell in quick succession once Charles got out and Saint Lucia couldn’t get to the 200-run mark.

Despite that, they won the game as they bundled out the opposition for just 100 runs. The likes of Mathew Ford and Wiese picked three wickets each, while Primus and Joseph claimed two wickets. Once again, they will be bowling against St. Kitts and but their batting line-up looks in the decent form now. All in all, it should be a great contest to witness.
