Indian cricketers Suresh Raina and Rishabh Pant recently hit the nets, resuming practice after the prolonged break due to Covid-19 pandemic. Following all precautionary and safety measures, both players were seen knocking the ball around during a session in Ghaziabad, which has already recorded over 3000 coronavirus cases.
With this, the two followed the footsteps of Indian stars such as Cheteshwar Pujara, Umesh yadav, and Ishant Sharma. Left-handed batsman, Suresh Raina, even shared a video from their practice on his official Instagram account.

“Work hard, Never Give Up & Get rewarded,” the 33-year-old captioned the post.
This was Raina’s third training in the nets. On Friday, he posted a short clip of his session in the nets, where he and Rishabh Pant did some knocking. On Sunday, the occasional off-spinner posted another video – the caption of which read – “I hope everyone is having a good weekend! This week was all about being on the field. Aim High, Stay Focused & Keep Going! – It’s all a part of it.”
Raina, who is a limited-overs specialist, last played for India in 2018 in England and since then has struggled to be in form. Wicketkeeper-batsman Pant was seen enjoying a net session too.
India is all set to resume international cricket against Australia in a three-Test series by end of this year. BCCI is yet to give a heads-up about forming training camps.
