The Hundred is England’s latest addition to their domestic circuit. The Hundred is a franchise-based cricket tournament where eight teams battle it out for the prestigious triumph. Iconically, the matches are conducted in a tailored format where each team gets 100 balls to play in their innings.
The second edition of the Hundred is scheduled to take place from 3rd August 2022. The final will take place on 3rd September. The 100-ball tournament will catch daily matches with some doubleheaders on the weekend.

The inaugural edition of the Hundred received a tremendous response from the fans. Southern Braves won the first ever title by defeating Birmingham Phoenix in the final.
The inaugural fixture of the Hundred 2022 saw the Southern Braves take on Welsh Fire in a heated encounter at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton. Southern Braves outclassed Welsh Fire by nine wickets in the opening game.
